How it all started.
It started in 2019, on the Ieperstraat. I was 21, with a small studio and one question I couldn't shake — why does fitness almost always feel like a compromise?
Either the equipment but not the attention. The atmosphere but not the results. The price but not the quality. Most gyms picked one or two things and let the rest slide.
So I started building a club where nothing slides. Slowly. One member at a time. One detail at a time.
What began in 100m² is now 750m². What I ran alone became a team — Haris joined in 2022, Tom this year. A handful of clients became hundreds. We held the line through Covid, and through every quiet doubt about whether this was going to work.
What never changed is the role: clear the path. Whatever usually makes starting hard — the doubt, the friction, the feeling of being out of place — we handle before you walk in. The equipment, the space, the coaching, the atmosphere, even the way it feels at the door. All of it set up so the only thing left for you to do is train.
That's BFZ. Not what we add — what we take away.
