E-Fit EMS training in Zonnebeke.

— E-Fit

What 20 minutes can actually do.

EMS — electrical muscle stimulation — sounds like a shortcut. It isn't. The suit doesn't replace effort, it amplifies it. Every contraction reaches deeper muscle fibres than traditional training activates. 20 minutes of focused work delivers results that would take significantly longer in a regular session.

At BFZ, E-Fit runs one-on-one with your coach. No group classes, no rotating equipment, no waiting. You arrive, suit up, train, leave — twice a week, for as long as it serves you.

What changes? You stop trading hours for results. You stop skipping training because the day got away from you. You start fitting strength work into a life that doesn't have room for the gym.

— How it works

Three steps. Twenty minutes.

(01)

Suit up.

Arrive in workout clothes (we provide an undergarment for the EMS suit). Your coach fits the suit, calibrates the electrodes to your body, and sets the intensity to match your level — no guesswork, no group settings.

(02)

Train.

20 minutes of guided strength work — squats, presses, rows, core. The suit fires electrical impulses through every targeted muscle, activating fibres that traditional training rarely reaches. Your coach controls intensity throughout, in conversation with how you respond.

(03)

Done.

Suit comes off. Quick cool-down, brief debrief on what you felt. Two sessions a week is the standard rhythm — your muscles need recovery time between sessions, more than you'd expect from how short it feels.

What you want to know.

Yes — when you do the work. EMS isn't passive technology. The suit fires impulses through your muscles, but you still squat, press, row and engage. Studies consistently show that 20 minutes of EMS training can produce strength and hypertrophy results comparable to significantly longer traditional sessions, when done twice a week with proper coaching.

No, but it's intense. The sensation is unfamiliar at first — like a deep, controlled muscle contraction. Your coach starts at low intensity, builds gradually, and adjusts based on how you feel. By session two or three, the feeling becomes familiar. Most members describe it as challenging, not painful.

Regular workout clothes. We provide a thin cotton undergarment that goes under the EMS suit (kept fresh and clean for every session). Bring water; everything else is provided.

Most members notice strength gains within 4–6 sessions and visible body composition changes around the 8–10 session mark. Consistency matters more than intensity here — two sessions a week, every week, beats three sessions one week and zero the next.

EMS is safe for most healthy adults. There are some absolute contraindications: pregnancy, pacemakers, epilepsy, certain heart conditions, and acute injuries. We screen for these during the first session. If you have a chronic medical condition, we'll ask you to check with your doctor before starting.

Yes — and many members do. E-Fit pairs well with cardio, mobility work, sport-specific training, and even regular strength sessions if managed carefully. Two EMS sessions a week is intense enough that we'll typically advise against three or more strength sessions on top, but your coach will help you balance the load.
